Water quality is usually checked with occasional manual sampling, if at all. Users have no continuous visibility into whether their water is safe or within acceptable limits, and contamination or drift goes unnoticed until it becomes a problem.
The principle

Sense
Inline sensors capture TDS and temperature continuously through the monitoring cycle.
Compensate
Local processing corrects for temperature, which otherwise skews conductivity readings.
Filter
A median across multiple readings suppresses sensor noise and transient spikes.
Stream
Processed values are transmitted for storage, live trends and out-of-range alerts.
